Parent Faculty Association (PFA)

The PFA funds grants and special requests submitted by the administration and staff. Most requests are for technological devices and supplemental classroom supplies. The PFA hopes to fund more than $50,000 in requests during the 2008-09 school year. Projects funded by the PFA include: - $5,000 for large outdoor shade structure
- $1,800 for after-school sports
- $500 on supplies for various departments
- $2,000 for math festival
- $9,000 for technology specialist stipend
- $10,000 for lunchtime activities
- $2,000 for teacher requests (atlases, newspaper/magazine subscriptions, computer software)
- $4,000 for counseling supplement
Thank you to the many Hart families who give generously of their money and time to support our school and the PFA. If you'd like to help the PFA determine how our resources are spent on campus, please attend the monthly PFA meetings. We welcome participation and input.
